Why we started Mind Music
We want everyone to be able to experience live music, no matter where they are. Many people are cut off from family and friends during the pandemic, and this isolation takes a toll on both our personal mental health and our communities. We also know that not everyone lives in a big city or is mobile enough to leave the house to hear their favourite musicians, even in the best of times.
Musicians have been hit hard by COVID-19, and we want to provide them with two essential things: income and a chance to do what they love.
Using remote performances to create direct connections between musicians and listeners, Mind Music is our way to make music more accessible, more personal, and more social, all while supporting our incredible local artists.

We would like to acknowledge the inspiration we received from our friends Yolanda Bruno and Dominique Laplante, who were the first people we know who used technology to connect musicians with listeners in this deeply personal way.
