How can we help?
Q: Can I request specific musicians or pieces of music?
A: Yes, you can. We can’t guarantee that we can make it happen, as musicians’ availability and repertoire will vary, but we will do our best to pair you up with your requests.
Q: Is it possible to reschedule?
A: Within 24 hours of booking, you are welcome to reschedule. After that, we can’t accommodate schedule changes. However, if we experience technical problems during the event, you have the option to request a refund or reschedule to a different date.
Q: Can I record or take pictures?
A: You are welcome to take pictures of the event. If you would like to record a portion of the performance for personal archival use, we ask that you get approval from the performer before recording anything, and ask for their approval before sharing anything publicly. We will share this information prior to the event to make sure we protect the artist and their work.
Q: Are kids allowed?
A: Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to invite children or enjoy the event as a family. Simply let us know that there will be children in the audience, and we will make the event child-friendly.
Q: What accessibility features are available?
A: We offer live captioning service through Zoom. We also engage artists who speak different languages, including English, French, Turkish, etc. An accessible website will be coming soon.
Q: What kind of musicians can I choose from?
A: We engage some of the finest musicians in Canada to be part of our roster. We have artists specializing in classical, jazz, different types of world music, folk, and more, and many of the artists are fluent in several styles of music.
Q: Is it possible to have a longer or shorter concert?
A: Currently we offer 30-minute sessions. In the future, we may offer a variety of different lengths, so if this is important to you please let us know!
Q: Can I buy this as a gift?
A: Absolutely! Mind Music makes a great gift, especially for someone who you can’t be physically together with. On the booking form, just let us know that it is a gift, and we will send you a gift message that you can forward to the recipient. You can even join them for the performance if you want!
